Our mission is to educate ourselves and the congregation about organizations meeting social needs in our area and to lend support to groups already doing vital work in our community. We also reach out directly or invite the community in to our spaces for social activities such as
Chair Yoga every Thursday at 11:30am and Prayer Group right after from 12-12:30.

Ongoing Dover Food Pantry Donations Collected
Non-perishable foods and donations of personal care products and paper goods for the Dover Food Pantry are always welcome. Place them in the shopping basket at the back of the church.
Outreach 2025
Outreach chooses the recipient of the quarterly proceeds of the Mission Box (located at the steps of the choir.) Parishioners’ donations are supplemented by all the offerings from the Chair Yoga class each week.

2024 Annual Report Outreach Committee meets on Zoom at 7PM on the second Thursday of the month and welcomes all interested to join. With the generous support of parishioners, the Committee together chooses and directs a Parish focus quarterly for compassionate almsgiving via our Mission Box. We continue to be eager to learn from those who deliver services to the most vulnerable in our community. 2024 brought us connections to a wide range of providers. We look forward to learning & sharing more about Black and Indigenous history in Dover in the coming year.

Dover Rotary Project: Dry Foods Packing May 4: Time 9-4
Kathy Fink coordinator. We had a St. Thomas’ Team of 12 to assist and provided gratis the Ervin Hall space,
tables & chairs for the event.
Red’s Road Race: several St. Thomas’ women trained weekly together and 4 participated in the walk, raising funds for Woodman Park PTO and Seymour Osman Center.

Black Heritage Trail Dover Walk: 4 parishioners
Firefighters Union, Dover: 47 new toys
CHIPS: $330 worth of gifts purchased and delivered at Diocesan Convention in October.
Advent PJ Drive: 85 pair delivered to Seymour Osman Center for their Families Holiday Fair.
Caroling in Advent: 4 Assisted living locations with 7-8 parishioners leading singing at each.
Ongoing: Chair Yoga weekly class is open to the community (by donation which goes to the Mission Box.)
Marf (free store on our lawn each Tuesday evening), Dover Food Pantry
